I Picked up a TPSFX this week . The slide is cut for a reflex sight and comes with 4 adapters , but none will work with the Romeo 1 :-(

So now I am making one but I will be putting it lower than the factory adapters . It looks like I can get the reflex sight almost .100 " lower than the factory adapters. That will keep the front sight reasonable low and still co-witness.

Next will be the thumb rest like my CZ Orange has , and I think I will be really happy with this pistol.

I will post the pics as soon as the parts are finished up.

Are you wanting to use the Romeo because that’s what you have already or are you looking at any other mini red dot options?

I have a few mini reflex sights, but the sig is a good one. The one feature that really appeals to me is that the sig has a notch on the rear of the housing that can be used as a rear sight making co-witnessing easier.

Im interested on a range report. There was an ad in Skillset about a Canik and a RDS for $7xx

So far ..
the pistol is very accurate
It seems to be over sprung,,, ejected cases barely get 1 foot
reset is very short

comparing to the CZ 75 TS ,,, polymer frame makes it lighter and isnt as fast getting back on target

but cost of the Canik is 1/3 the price of the CZ TSO. The Canik is a great pistol for the price

I can get the tp9sfx cheaper than the price you saw , but then I do have to add sales tax.

I've shot several of these. They seem to be pretty solid little pistols. My buddy bought one for his CCH, and likes it. It shoots really well.

here are 4 rounds at 20 yards, on a bench and with the red dot

looks like it is shooting within 1" .. oh yeah , ignore the 6mm holes. I was lazy and did not put up a new target.

I recently picked up the SF model. Sweet! To me anyway. I'm not an expert on triggers and all that, but mine is super light, almost scary light compared to what I am used to.

618 rounds and 2 text book tap and rack stove pipes in a row in the 520's round count, fairly clean gun. I'm gonna call that an ammo issue since it was sequential. Wally Federal. The odd 18 rounds was a mag of Remington Golden Sabers 124 grain.

The SFX was a bit more than I could spend, so I picked up the SF for $375 OTD. I am so far very happy with my purchase other than not a lot of gun specific aftermarket accessories available, not many spare parts on the Century Arms website either.

If it's good enough for Turkish Law Enforcement and Cameroon Special Forces, it's good enough for me!

I had the same ejection problem..."It seems to be over sprung,,, ejected cases barely get 1 foot"...and contacted Century Arms. Seemed to be nice people to deal with. They sent me a reduced power recoil spring assembly (no charge !) which cured the problem, cases (target loads) eject about 3 to 3.5 ft. Turned it from an ok gun into one of my favorites. Now need to get a red dot.

I have a SF model. Canik is the best value in all the gun market in my opinion. Holster, back straps, case, and cleaning rod for $375.00 and I shoot it better than any of my guns including Glock, CZ, and Dan Wesson. Never had a single issue but in fairness I shoot good and great target ammo. Remington, Winchester, and other Wally World ammo has never been in the gun.

Canik has put out a lot of versions over the last five years.

Picked one up for a truck gun a year ago or so from a member on here. Never had an issue with it and have fed it brown bear, wolf and Tula ammo. Trigger is great and is very accurate. Kinda fun to shoot and for the price I paid (low 300’s) you really can’t beat it.

It is a joy to shoot for sure. It looks as though they have/had it in .40 but I've not seen any for sale. I didn't look too hard though.

Other than the 2 stove pipes in a row, there have been no problems with the cheap stuff. Good thing because my budget can't take much more!

I've been shooting brass case ammo, I intend to put some steel and aluminum cases through it soon. I'm glad you mentioned it because I have been thinking about it and haven't gotten around to picking some up.
