any knife guys own one of these? pretty sure his shop is somewhere in central nc maybe the triad. for the longest time it was a lolly scramble trying to score one but i'm told that production has somewhat caught up.

If it’s the same Nathan Carothers he does (or maybe did) CNC prototyping for companies 10 or so years back. He also was doing consulting on some specialized tooling setup for milling operations. If its the same Nathan Carothers (kinda rare name) he did have a serious hobby with knife making.

yeah that would make sense, he makes components for other makers and various machining fabrication. i'd guess he's done really well for himself slinging blades

I have a smaller basic blade of his in 3v, I use it mainly in demolition/renovation of houses, damn thing can take super abuse then it’s easily resharpened
His 3v is on par or better than busse infi in my opinion

So I don’t dig up that dead thread, what kinda infi you got? 👀👀 My grail knife was/is a FFBM, but I never pulled the trigger on one.
