Interesting points layout ... seems like those 1c shots should be worth about $10 :)

Good clarification point @BigWaylon - some interesting risk/reward analysis strategy could have seen a bunch of shots on certain coins otherwise. I'm glad I don't have to think so hard about it

Gonna be another fun one - thanks @ECNC

$11.64 is the max...keep that in mind when you look at these scores coming in. ;)

That's four targets, each with only a single miss for @ECNC. Y'all better bring your A-games in April!!

Going to be tough to beat $11.62

How about we edit to say where we shoot at. I shoot at Dare County shooting complex operated by the Outer Banks Gun Club Manns Harbor, NC

I'm printing it out on poster board this time. I figure scale to fit 4' tall should work.
I'm going to just take one shot with my 12.5" 20ga SBS from about 10' and be done with it. :D

Maybe I just don't have the patience for this...$9.31 on my second go. First one was so bad I didn't finish it.

I shot it this past Sunday at DPRC. CZ452, Vortex DiamondBack 4-12x, Boyds stock, Harris bipod, squeze bag, prone. Aquila Super Extra Subsonic

$9.31 is good. Don't knock it. It takes patience and a heck of lot of practice. Every thing you do effects that bullet. Breathing, trigger pull, body position etc... and it all has to come together at the same time. That $2 coin will get you

When I finally get into DPRC in June I'll come shoot it with you, and we can see who sucks worse! Our rifle set ups could almost be twins except I have a Sightron instead of the Vortex.

And don't compare $$ amounts too much. This is a tricky target. You could be $6 off perfect and only miss three shots...or only be $1.14 off perfect and have missed fifteen shots.

This is so very true. I shot last night and will be posting soon. While I do have one great target @FarpinDar the other 3 are very close to yours ... and yes, the damn $2 coin will kill you. 1 miss and ouch! This is why we keep going back and trying again.

Shot last night ... my first target shot I had my A+ game on for $11.64, and then it was downhill with a$9.39, $9.62, and a $9.63. Missed a $2 on each of the $9 targets (might have got one of them but too close to call) and for some stupid reason forgot to shoot at one of the $0.20 coins on one. Also had a miss on a $0.05, a $0.02, and $0.01 coins. Only posting my A+ game target but will keep looking at the others to remind me to go back and shoot more :)

Wake County Range
CZ455
Leupold VX-3 4.5-14 scope
Sinclair lightweight rest at front
Bunny ears at back

Very good! Congrats!!!

Thanks @ECNC but I'm thinking that being inside still doesn't hold up to your outside w/ wind shooting. I still want to be like you when I grow up :D

And I am still jealous of you. I want to be able to shoot indoors sometimes. Like when it's raining and that would of been a lot these past few months. :)

Finally made the 4 mile trip to Wake Co Range tonight. I shot 2 targets and didn’t realize the second I failed to engage three circles after taking a break to watch a guy shoot the ceiling. Next time I’ll take a pen and spare target to count my hits/shots as I take them. Overall I was pleased but see that Mike59 edged me out with inside hits. I see we both shot in lane 29 also. $11.64 but just barely made it. Splitting hairs but nicked the coins on the middle $0.10 and right $0.01. Fun target!

I am very impressed with this setup. This was my second time shooting this rifle and it’s more accurate than I anticipated. I need to try a few different types of ammo but it loves CCI standard and Federal Ultra Match so far.

Nice shooting @ColtM4A1 - I had lane 29 all warmed up and ready for you ;) I line my ammo up on the bench for the target I'm shooting and somehow I still managed to not take a shot at 1 of the 20c coins on 1 of my targets - go figure. It did happen when I had to stop mid target for target changes by others but still ... somewhere on the floor was an un-shot bullet - go figure :(

Cool that your rifle loves the CCI standard - mine only likes it. I've shot FGM Ultra Match and it did do very well with that - about the same as the ELEY match.

Good shooting!

Thanks for warming up the lane! It is tough to tell if you have a hit on the dark coins with the black rubber backstop at Wake Co (even at 12x), but misses stand out quite well.

I need to pick up some Eley match and see how it does in my rifle. I do know the Federal HV Match has a huge POI shift and far from the tight grouping of the Ultra or CCI.

So was back at the range today. Could not let those spoiled indoor shooters have the only perfect targets :D @mike59 & @ColtM4A1 Did quite well. Shot two good targets and then decided I wanted to be like the 'INDOOR SHOOTERS" and tried out a rear bag. Definitely felt odd to me. It came with my Champion bag set. Use the front bag a lot for different things but never the rear.

Just a little windy!

I have never used a rear bag before so decide to give it a try.
I need to practice with it some more. Felt odd to me.

I gota love my wife. She told me I need to build my own indoor shooting lane. I told her our property is only 150 feet and you can not build on the property line. Thanked her for the suggestion though!

Ok, so now not only do I want to be like you when I grow up but I also want my wife to be like your wife when she grows up! LOL :D

Too hilarious not to share. Very windy at the range today, plus the laughing presented a struggle....This is the better of the two.
Almost looks like you attempted my plan to try the target with one round of birdshot instead!! :D

Scatter gun! Have to be honest that did make me laugh. What happened? Man I have had those days and the only (and I think the best thing is just laugh) and have a good time.

I was shooting a 15x15" target one time (50 meters) and could not even hit the paper. Took about 15 shots and nope. Got home and went to clean the rifle and found out the scope was lose. I started to just laugh and told myself I was such an idiot and laughed even more.

Really a poor excuse, but 15 mph gusts started right after I started shooting the target. The target was swaying fore and aft about 14". I was putting the reticle on the dot and waiting for the dot to swing to it.

Oh, BTW Marlin 60 with a Tasco scope range supplied front support, no bag in the back.
