CFF: Chatham County Area: Monthly Lunch Meet-Up

I was gonna ask for a picture - that is hilarious!!
The preacher was standing right in front of me when I pulled my nipple out...

He said, "There's gonna be some new rules next year."

Hahaha!

Thanks everyone, for another awesome meet up!

The food was great!

But, on the way home, my guts started gurgling! I started fidgeting in my seat. My face started sweating! My scalp started tingling!

I told Grace it felt like two squirrels were chasing each other inside my stomach...

When I got home, I left the truck parked in the driveway and ran into the house. I barely made it y'all! I wiped the sweat off my forehead and said a prayer of thanks...

The same damn thing happened to me on Friday, & I wasn’t even there.

I hope you haven’t felt like me this weekend. I’ve spent the last 48+ hours with a fever, feel like I’ve been kidney punched and can’t get warm.
Me thinks I’m getting betta.
Nope. I just squirted twice and then felt fine. I hope you get back to feeling well soon. Let me know if you need anything!

Getting sick sucks. Getting sick on a weekend with gorgeous weather sucks a lot more. Hope you feel better soon.

Da truuff!
Thanks! It looks like I'm past the fever & now just too dizzy to safely drive. We were supposed to finish boxing up the shop and garage, then pack them and house boxes into our 15' trailer and a Pod this weekend. None of that got done.
I wouldn't have gotten sick, If I would have been an obstinate. Frigggin' DHL is a local 3PL (subcontract warehousing and packaging) for a yuge worldwide corp that got hacked months ago. I'd bet al y'all have some of their product in your homes. They've been paying two shifts of hundreds of illegals to sit in the breakroom for months so they wouldn't lost the employees. The computers are about to go live and they NEEDED 24 people trained and certified to operate equipment for inventory. Scheduling for training is frequently months out, the last minute SFB's gave us a two day warning. I pulled a 16 hour day the first day with the two shifts, the massholes allowed one of these gals in the building coughing up a lung and blowing her nose all day. I thought I'd be OK if I stayed 20'+ away, nope. They still have their covid signage up, all the breakroom tables have what look like 'Easy" buttons on the tables, when you sit, press the button and it lights up, the light is to be turned of when the table's sanitized. Note this company is known worldwide for sanitation products. They also did not inform us, only one out of the 24 speaks English. I do not speak South American, nor do I have any foreign language material. Go ahead and try to meet OSHA standards like that.
To top it off, I spent 37 hours in two days pulling them out of a ditch, and all they had was attitude.
Next time they're in a ditch, they can stay there.

When and where will the next meeting be held?
I would like to attend unless attendance is limited.
Thank you.
We usually pick a place in or near Pittsboro, at noon, on the last Friday of the month.

You want to make a recommendation for where to eat this month?

We gonna try for black Friday or do yall want to push it up a week?
I would recommend pushing to either the 17th or the 1st (and pretending it’s still Nov). The 1st may be a good compromise as I think the 29th of dec is likely to see low attendance with NY around the corner.

I have always had good food at the Carolina Brewery.
I open on either the 24th or the 1st.

Well poop...

I have to take my bike in to the Yamaha place, in Durham, for service, and the only free time they had available was 10am on Friday.

I'll try to make it to Carolina Brewery by noon, but I doubt it will happen... It's the bike's first service, so it might take a while for them to change the oil, tighten the chain, and double check everything...

I'm here early! Bike's all done and I made it to Carolina Brewery in time for lunch.

I'll grab a table. How many people are coming?
