Ladies & Gentlemen,

We realize that recent events have raised some questions about the site, its long term status, and even its operational viability.

First and foremost, nothing has changed from our initial start up message and nothing will change. The five owners that remain have never wavered in our commitment, our vision, or our direction of the site.

We are a brand new site and a brand new company. If you have ever served on a nonprofit board you may understand the frustration of varying ideals and trying to get anything accomplished. I firmly believe that all of the original nine owners still respect each other...... we simply realized that different views existed of what was best for the site.

The decisions of those owners who stepped aside began early in January but they were all kind enough to stay in their Admin roles until we had a stable platform to operate from. We respect and honor them for all of the contributions that each of them have made. They were clear with their reasons and we both respected their decisions and understood them. There was never any ill will between us that we know of, it simply boiled down to a difference of principles. The last announcements were just recently made but things are technically the same.

We have tried, from the beginning, to continue building upon a forum that caters to a wide variety of tastes, centered around our love of the second amendment. For most of us, this is our only form of social media. With that in mind we wanted it to feel like a friend's garage, patio, or fire pit. You come to talk about guns but you can stay for hours laughing, joking, and even share concerns about life with people you have built trust with as forum members.

That mindset and vision hasn’t changed. While we wish that some of our disagreements hadn’t been shared in the open we can’t put the genie back in the bottle so we will just have to move on. We were and are like a family. We disagree and have differing opinions but in the end we came together to start this site, ensure its longevity, and we will continue to do so.

This is not a step back, it is simply the closing of one door with another one being opened. So please, join us in thanking the folks that put in a lot of blood, sweat, and tears getting us to where we are. They will be missed. What remains is a core ownership of five with the same vision for the site and a awesome group of volunteer moderators.

We look forward to being here for a very long time with the camaraderie that makes this place great.
