That's not a "No Knock" in the sense of the term, that would be called / noted as "service on the residence".
 
Makes no sense to try to serve on a known armed felon at a house you don't know who or what weapons are inside. Take him into custody on a street, oh it puts the public in danger, the public was told to stay indoors, is that not a clear and present danger?

Have an unmarked PD tow truck get in front of his vehicle and hook up the car at a stop sign, he is not going anywhere when he is out on the streets. Sounds too easy and it may not be but putting all the good guys in a firefight makes no sense

I guess it's possible they knocked, I wasn't home.

The rest of the story is, they had the wrong address, the pot dealer was in apartment "A", I lived in apartment "B".

I don’t know what censorship will be used but any footage from TF members who were shot, especially the two who tried to rescue the first man down, would be distributing. That should be played in slow motion many times for the jury of the accomplices who they were in the house.

Agreed. Im surprised they haven’t announced any charges yet for the occupants in the house
 
After seeing countless videos of bad cops I no longer jump to conclusions. I'm not saying there is anything unusual or conspiratorial here. The families will ultimately be the ones who suffer. Because of bad cops, bad judges, bad politicians, bad law, bad damn everything, I no long blanket support anyone. We'll get the real story soon enough and mistakes will have been made on all sides I am willing to wager. It's a sad state of affairs.

I did not see that in the latest report I read, I think that turned out to be not the case. Somebody called the first 48 hours "the 48 hours of BS" where a lot of stuff "comes out" that turns out to be untrue.

I watched the press conference today in its entirety. They were pretty clear that it is still early and information may change, but as of now it does not appear that anyone else was involved in the shooting. The two people taken in as "persons of interest" were described as being "fully cooperative" so there may well not be anyone alive to charge.

The reporter said more than 100 rounds were fired … and the shooter used an automatic AR with bullets that penetrated body armor. Let the fireworks begin before an official report is issued … much less the services for those killed in the line of duty happen. Bunch of f’n vultures.

Well that figures. FYI, all rifle rounds penetrate the vests 99% of issued LEO armor. They usually get level IIIA plates that are rated for pistol rounds. Not that armor makes a huge difference if someone is shooting down on you…

Crazy how fast the media took it. Not even a full day of just somber memorial. No politicians care about addressing the root cause by empowering people so they don’t feel like they just commit crimes to get by. I know it’s hard to break generational cycles but it just makes me sick. Nobody in power actually cares. All we can do is be kind to one another and do the best we can with what we’ve got.

I watched the press conference. The CMPD Chief did in fact say the gun was "automatic" as opposed to "semi-automatic." The reporter that asked the question asked it that way, mentioning both operating systems. So, the question becomes, did the chief understand the question, and if so, does he understand the difference between FA and SA? If the answer to both is yes, then the use of an actual FA AR type rifle is in fact unusual (and makes it a 99% chance the gun was not legal, as opposed to the possessor just being not legal). Glock "switches" are starting to become a common occurrence on the street, select-fire AR type rifles, not so much.
 
On another forum, there was a post made that recordings from the scene, could have been from a scanner, seemed to sound like automatic weapon.

Idk. I didn't research to find anything
 
Well I guess if he had an automatic weapon and was being served a warrant for felon with a gun ( illegal gun at that) then shouldn’t that have been an ATF deal? I guess then all the other houses on the block would have burned down and the dogs would have been shot too. Oh wait nevermind that was only Janet Reno’s fault.

This is a sad and terrible turn of events for all involved.

Probably zero connection with this incident but, always worth confronting: a major factor in the now underway “CARTELIZATION” of CONUS is and will be a flood of select fire small arms … expect to see more and more of them at crime scenes as Mexico mafiants increasingly displace crips bloods and ms-13 …

Come on man, that would be unsportsmanlike, not to mention illegal, they wouldn't do that or we might have to pass another law against it. Then where would they be?
 
Alma Adam's, the relic who represents that part of CLT has already called for banning "assault weapons", universal bg checks, secure storage and the usual grabber bag of tricks. She is so old I think I saw her call Joe Biden that young guy from Delaware once. Never let a tragedy go to waste
