Chicken Salad

Well, I say @Squanchy might have something to say about that.
Wait, what sauce would you put on it?

Chicken salad? No thanks

Carry on heathens

There is a little "hole in the wall" restaurant in downtown Burlington called Old Fogies. Their chicken salad is "smack ya mama.en.em" good!
We usually get a extra pound or two if they have enough and will sell it to you!

I enjoy shrimp salad, or "seafood salad" which just seems to be imitation crab. I'm not excited to eat it but I won't refuse it.

Chicken salad just seems to be a sadder version.

We had Chicken Salad Chic a few times, their spicy varieties are good. Wife like their food so we typically have a container or two in the fridge.

The real debate is this:

Do grapes belong in chickin salad?
Let the battle lines be drawn, may the best side win.

Oh my and absolutely not!

We're happy with our own chicken salad. We'll buy a rotisserie chicken from the store, make a meal out of it and make chicken salad of what's left. Then boil the carcass to get chicken stock.

Geezer,

Never thought of that breakdown of use of a rotisserie chicken. Definitely getting your money’s worth.

The chick does make a pretty good chicken salad.

I think "Chicken Salad Chick" has it going on!
I don't like celery so they're a no-go for me since they use their base salad with celery for making all their other ones.
To bad cause I really wanted to like the buffalo chicken one they had.

Put grapes in, or not.
Use celery, or not.
Raisins? *blech!!*

And use any mayo you like,
as long as it’s Dukes.

No .
Nor walnuts either
And if you're using canned chicken why even bother

Store bought chicken salad?

Star. Just a little bit of pickle. Awesome.

Yep that's what the way my wife does it
If you don't have time for this just go to Ingles and buy their rotisserie chicken salad.
That's where we stole the idea from
