After my gun collection got decimated by a divorce...I’ve finally picked up another beloved single action. I’ve got a little road ahead before I’m built back up for CAS, but I’ll get my hand back in the mean time!

Picked this up for $400 cash NIB...

Super nice. Theire is a gorgous CF Hammer gun in the Classifieds. You need that to go with this. Then we will find you a rifle :)

I’d love to have that hammered double...about 3 paychecks out of my price range though.

Nice Cimmarron, @DougL3NC . I've had my eye on an Evil Roy for a while now. I'm working in my buddy's shop this week and two of them came in. I got to handle one of them and now I really want one. But, he tells me that they both are sold.

Wow! She’s a beauty. Love the case hardened look. If she shoots as good as she looks you’re in for a real treat.

Nice looking piece Doug.
Do all of the current Cimmarron SA’s have the firing pin safety system that @Sharps40’s .44 Spl has?
If it has six holes, I like to fill ‘em’!
If they do, I‘lol be picking up another 4 5/8” SA in .45 Colt soon.
Bull

Some do, some don’t. I really don’t know the method as to why only some have the safety and some don’t.
That one above is a 4-click with no safety and my 3.5” birds head has the safety.
Either way, they are fine guns...if the safety bothers you, $90 for a hammer and trigger will solve it.

yep, 90ish for hammer, trigger and cylinder pin. Just ordered all three from taylors today to make the 44 special more like its granddady colt.

Oh no, the safety is fine with me.
I actually prefer the transfer bar type safety. If someone could find a way to gain a permanent limp from loading six instead of five- it would be me.....
