Cleaning Winchester 94

Hey y'all, I searched for a thread on this and wasn't able to find anything (maybe the search tool didn't like "94" or something).

Any tips on how you do a reasonably thorough cleaning on a 94 without full disassembly? I'm reticent to use even a nylon coated rod from the muzzle but I also don't want to resort to a bore snake cable.

I appreciate that insight. I’ve done that once and need to practice some more. More so just kinda thinking about barrel cleaning after shooting 20-40 rounds. I’m working up some subsonic loads and I really just want to make sure I’m not letting crud build up since I’m shooting with low pressures.

Padded vice , bore snake from the breech , wire brush bolt face , toothbrush and Qtips for rails and action.
