I have what I think by the looks is a 1860 model, but it isn’t the ball and cap muzzle load, it has black powder preload ammo 44 cal, is all I can find about it, all the info I can get is a plus, and it not in prefect shape but maybe value too
Also have colt army special 32-20 with the wooden pistol case, info on it too please and value

Thanks, is that good? How do you tell? Are there any info on them converting them?
Looks like yours has matching #s

They aren’t common. Yours isn’t in the greatest shape, but it is still worth something to the right guy who needs one for his collection. Now that you know what it is, there is plenty of rabbit hole for you to go down to learn about them. :)

Iron/steel frame. Brass triggerguard is correct.
I looked more closely... brass trigger guard/front strap, Colt style separate backstrap/underneath strap is steel.

Both are very interesting. I would have considered purchasing them a few short years ago, but now I have stopped buying guns. Only ammo and components. If there are exceptions, I ain't tellin'!

Would you try to shoot it, the 32-20 probably shoots fine

The conversion is probably in .44 Colt, which can be difficult to find. I wouldn't shoot that one without a gunsmith looking at it. The .32-20 is probably okay.

It looks like a factory gun or built by colt and stamp the ssn numbers in all the parts, but like I said that’s y I’m here to try to find out, long story short they came with the by out, and I’m not a colt collector so I was looking to part ways bc of what they are
