Dad left me a few pistols

Gorgeous guns. and that's a fun little optic.
I had an aimpoint 1000 on a 22 pistol for years, but it got promoted to a PS90 and does a fine job there.

Thanks everyone, so far we are doing pretty well, last week was hard enough to make yesterday seem a bit easier. We know there is much to come buts itā€™s all part of the mourning process. @BatteryOaksBilly mom is very likely to be with me next time.

Since you phrased it like that:

Grief never ends, but it changes. It is a passage, not a place to stay. Grief is not a sign of weakness nor a lack of faith: it is the price of love.

Rest In Peace

Darn. I couldn't "react" to your original post. Didn't know which would fit.

I'm so sorry for your loss, that is tough. But at least your father had wonderful taste in rimfire pistols!

The pure joy of using them, plus their history as heirlooms will easily brighten the most melancholy day.

I'm truly sorry to hear about your Dad, I know this will take some time for everyone. He certainly did have good taste in pistols, though.

Sorry for your loss. Prayers for you and your family.

It's great you have the original receipts. Was he left handed?

I have a 1971 High-Standard exactly like the bottom supermatic. Its workmanship is outstanding and will group a half dollar at 50 feet. It's hard to loose a loved one. For me I believe that this life is a temp home if you have Know/Accepted Christ. For my dad it was a ? which I wrestled with for years. God Bless.

Sorry for your loss. Prayers for peace and comfort for you and family.
