can't wait. lately these are the only movies that get me to the theaters these days.
 
I thought the same thing with Winter Soldier.... Maybe don't shoot the guy in his invulnerable arm? Maybe aim at allllll the rest of.him?


Looks cool though.
 
They're offering a double feature for anybody that wants to catch both movies on opening night.
 
Very disappointed it had it's moments that made it worth the watch, but for parts of it I felt like I was being lectured to about pc crap like equality and not calling someone by their gender. Sorry Disney I watched to get more of DP's story and the action keep the gobbly gook out of it. IMHO 2 1/2 stars

Dang,, I just seen the first one and hoping this one would be as good.
Just watched Thor Ragnarok,, pretty good flick
 
I was disappointed also, tried to be more irreverent than the first but fell short.
Barely got through it.
 
dang - thats disappointing

me and some buddies are going to see solo friday - im afraid itll be the same pc bs too.

sjw's are ruining everything

oh it's worth watching don't get me wrong I just hated the added bs. it just left me walking out knowing I liked first one better, that happens often with movies actually.

glad someone liked it to me the first was funnier and less lecturing, 2 had a lot of good moments, but Disney has been sneaking in PC stuff into movies some hardcore fans have turned their backs on star wars over it because people watch movies for the story they don't care for subtle stuff being mixed in. Black Panther gave us the lecture about slavery, did I still watch it? yes but there was a lot of eye rolling...
 
So Disney releases 3 movies in succession......Avengers, DP2, and then Solo in May. I refuse to contribute to their causes so guess I'll wait til all 3 come out on netflix.
 
I saw it last night, and I found it to be fun and enjoyable. I did see a little PC crap thrown in here and there, but it was no where near as overbearing as I was expecting it to be.
 
First 15 were kind of slow but i was cracking up after that

The baby legs were hilarious

And domino was awesome

I’m not sure what movie some people saw. We just left the theatre and I almost peed myself laughing several times.

The “PC” crap that some people saw I thought was funny as hell. It didn’t come off as PC to me. It came off as making fun of that crowd.

I liked it as much as the first one if not better.
 
My daughter an I should be seeing this tomorrow.

Although I know what I "can" do, is it legal to CC at the NCG cinema in Monroe?

I just wanted to add that the closest theatre to the hotel we were staying was a place called the silverspot in chapel hill. I just assumed it was a normal theatre. It wasn’t.

We relaxed at the bar with a drink while we waited on our movie time. Then when we sat down in the oversized chairs they came around with menus. We both ordered a craft beer, goat cheese brioche and tuna tartare to share.

It was an expensive night at the movies but very cool. Never been to a place like that.

I can't remember the name of the place for crap, but around 1990ish, I went to a similar theater like that in Charlotte. The girlfriend and I shared a pitcher of redneck-light and fried potato skins while we watched the masterpiece Rocky V.

If my memory is any good, I think instead of theater seats, the floor was littered with those tall tables and bar stools.
 
I haven't been to a Cinema Cafe in ages. My wife and I used to go to one when we lived in Virginia Beach, back in the early days of our marriage. Kinda neat to go some place where you could actually eat and watch a movie, instead of munch on popcorn.

My thoughts exactly; I thought they were making fun of the PC crowd by having DP make those comments.
 
Have this one playing now. ~25 minutes into it. Just as entertaining, foul, and ridiculous as the first one so far.
