When a forum member passes, is there a reason why their posts are no longer available to be searched? I just thought that there is a lot of knowledge and wisdom that is lost when someone ceases to “exist” not only physically, but electronically as well.
Maybe I’m missing the big picture, but it sure would be nice to be able to find their old posts when doing a search. It allows them to still contribute to the community even after they are gone.
“When you remember me, it means that you have carried something of who I am with you, that I have left some mark of who I am on who you are. It means that you can summon me back to your mind even though countless years and miles may stand between us.” - Frederick Buechner, WHISTLING IN THE DARK (1988)
