I'd make them aware that I intend to file a claim with the CC company, and that I wouldn't do business with them again. then i'd follow through if they didn't make it right.

It's their fault the item needs to be restocked.... not yours.

AND make them aware you’ll be informing 7K folks about your experience.
Let me take a second to mention I had the same experience with that POS McGill at https://www.glockstore.com/
They lied about the trigger I ordered, it didn’t fit, I sent them Lenny’s video that says it fits and runs better, they basically told me to piss up a rope.

Sorry for the hijack, back to your regular scheduled programming.

Some mornings over our coffee, I read my wife kcult replies to certain threads. She finds them hilarious.
When she’s ready to graduate to the Big Leagues, start reading her mine. 🥳

2012, they had a massive batch of lowers they were putting on their site. Promised not to raise prices, this was in the middle of the panic, $99 ea. Deal went live and the site bogged down, then crashed. Came back up an hour or so later, $150 ea. People raised hell and they gave some lame excuse, Idr what it was.

They’ve been dead to me since.

I’d double check on a call, with a higher up if needed, to make sure they understand that they sent the wrong thing. It’s easy for people to misunderstand especially if they’re not gun people, and it’s likely the phone monkey isn’t a gun people.

If that goes nowhere, yea totally charge the shiz back with the CC company.

I'd ask to speak with a manager or something. I bet these people deal with so many calls sometimes they hear the "return" part and don't quite realize there was a shipping error on their end.

I've ordered from them a few times directly and was always a good experience. Sorry to hear that.

I ordered one of their fine muzzle brakes in 308. They sent me one in 6.5 Creedmore.
They will accept my return for a 10% restocking fee.
Booooooo!
You emailed them a copy of the invoice stating you ordered a 308 brake, they sent a 6.5 brake and they still want the restocking fee? I don't think anyone has tried to team me like that except for a car dealership. They should pay for shipping both ways and no restocking fee. Most and half way decent trailer would do that.

As others have said, speak to a manager. My personal experience with their CS was awesome. I ordered some stuff and it got shipped to the wrong location. They admitted they messed up the order, overnighted it to the correct FFL and 2nd day aired me a sh*t ton of swag. Best CS I've ever dealt with.
