The first big gun show of the new year will be in Raleigh at the Jim Graham building next weekend on Saturday 20-Jan and Sunday 21-Jan.

Don't forget to come on our and make sure to share that there is a show with your friends / co-workers who may be in the market for a new firearm. It still baffles me how many people will pay full retail at a box store when they could come to a show and get it for 100-200 less.

Also - If you or you know someone 18-20 that is looking to purchase a rifle / shotgun from any out of town dealers, ask them to transfer it to TCBG so that once your 3-10 day delay is lifted you can pick it up locally in our shop in Raleigh.

As always - If you have brass you would like to get rid of, we will be buying at the show!

Great show. Tons of guns and prices werenā€™t unreasonable for a gun show. Went to walk around since I havenā€™t been to one since precovid and it was well worth the entry fee. Of course a ton of handguns and lots of ARs. The old vintage guns are less and less every show I visit.

Seemed to have more vendors than usual which resulted in narrow aisles. Made it harder to see stuff and maneuver through the bottle necks. LOTS of ARs , some decent priced bulk 9mm but powder price sky high. Chatted with niceoldouble for a bit.Purchased some muzzle loading sabot bullets and best of all sold a Remington 870 Wingmaster. Walked out with mo money than I walked in with.

Honestly a great show! I found one of my bucketlist guns - a Beretta A300 Ultima Patrol 12-gauge semiauto shotgun. It was the *one* gun I told myself that if I found it at a reasonable price, I'd let myself buy it. Well, Ed's Gun Shop (great people, they do good work) had one for $900, and that's the going rate when you can find one. Usually, you simply can't find one. They're unobtanium. So I snagged it while I could. :D

Also picked up some more AR mags, H335 powder, some primers and a cool cerakoted Emissary Development Handbrake that looks pretty neat. Good haul I say. :)

They had lots of cool stuff this show, and a good number of more recently developed, new production stuff all at relatively reasonable prices for a gun show. If there's something you wanted specifically, for the most part this show I think you can find it at. If you're considering going Sunday, I definitely recommend it!

I went on Saturday with two things to accomplish.
1. A family member inherited several firearms so I was looking for prices.
2. Find some cheap 45-70 so I can shoot my rifle.

1. Check
2. Fail

Good show though, hadn't been to one in a while.

I passed on #2. $40 for Hornady šŸ˜€ not the best but still cheaper

Yeah, not ready to spend 2.00 to 3.00 a round just to shoot some targets.
Probably not going to get any cheaper though.

Agreed. I bought a few boxes just to take advantage but cost wise, still no good. Iā€™d like to learn to reload i just donā€™t have the time to learn thatā€¦.or space lol.

45-70 is 100% a handloader's cartridge. If you go one step further and cast your own bullets, it gets even better. Ask @SINNER - he'd probably love to tell you all about that. :D I would only buy factory 45-70 to get your own once-fired brass, fire-formed to your specific rifle.
