On my Savage 6.5 CM I have a Sig 3 x 12 that is dead on out to 550 yards. I just ordered a Bushnell Engage 2.5X10 that I put on a friends AR and it really looks like a great buy. Was going to put it on a new AR-15 build that has a 18" barrel. Wanted to shoot out to 500 yards with this gun. The issue that I have is the charging handle on the AR. It is hard to get to with the Bushnell scope. So I am thinking pull the Sig off the Savage and put the Bushnell on that gun and the Sig on the new AR build.
I just hate to take a scope off a gun that is dial in.
I know that Bushnell is not liked by a lot of people but I wanted exposed turrets and a parallax adjustment and this one has them.

Gear works around you not you around gear. I'd find a different 2-10 personally or a different mount? I wouldn't mess with an already squared away gun though.

In what way exactly does the scope interfere with the charging handle though? Kinda curious.

The eye piece of the scope is bigger than than the charging handle. Have to grab the charging handle from underneath the handle. PIA

Would something like a 1.93 mount help alleviate the issue? If not a larger latch like CZfool recommended might be helpful.

This^^^. And try sliding the scope as far forward in the mount as it will go (supposedly helps prevent it from moving under heavy recoil). I think your scope has about a 3 1/2" eye relief, you should have some wiggle room there.

I guess that I am KNOT RIGHT! I did switch out the scope on my Savage. The main reason was the new Bushnell I felt was a bit too long for the AR build. Lucky that I had a high set of Nikon mounts from a trade a couple years ago. The AR now has the Sig Whiskey 3 on it and the Savage has the Bushnell Engage on it. Range time on Wednesday and hoping that I did not make a mistake.

I made it to the range today and I did make the right decision. I know there is a lot of dislike for Bushnell scopes but for the money this one is great.
