Agreed sir. Takes a little more of the "wiggle room" away from the other party.

So you can't go to your own property now? That's messed up...

someone on here has property in a NC county that will not allow him as a property owner to his own property. Absolute insanity.

Drive through the barricade (likely some make shift dinky piece of poop) and pay them for the damages. Middle finger on the way in. “Send me the bill”.

Some people might need to rethink their bugout plans, at least around N.C.

Doesn’t look like anybody will be able to bug out to the beach and live off what they catch. I’m amazed. Even saw Surf City is starting suggesting property owners who aren’t full time not come down as well. I think it’s just a suggestion now....

Big signs on 501...STAY HOME and NO ROOMS FOR RENT IN MB

Not sure why the AG in Texas is injecting himself into Colorado proceedings?

If I had to guess I'm thinking some high ranking or wealthy Texans who have influence also own property in Colorado and have the connections inside the AG's office to muscle up a legal challenge to Colorado with well established case precedents and history to make a serious case. It will be interesting to see if Colorado will actually have the legal standing to enforce this directive in the face of a valid legal challenge.

I realize that anything is possible these days and I won't be surprised at the outcome either way. I was thinking last night what the authorities in Colorado would say if the owners of property in their county just showed up and said, "Officer, this IS MY HOME and I want immediate access as I'm not delinquent on any taxes or other requirements that other homeowners you have allowed through. I plan to proceed on to MY HOME and I expect you to protect and serve me as you have others who are already in their homes.

Some creative thinking could be used to declare the Colorado home as the preferred or primary home and the Texas home something totally different in legal interpretation. The Texas AG's office has provided some Constitutional protections in his drafted letter to Colorado that most likely cannot be soundly disputed.

Anyway you slice it could insure some pretty interesting drama inside a courtroom once it's time to play things out for the win and someone has the greenbacks to make a point.

Interesting...……...amazing how some of those pesky things in history can arise and complicate things once they make it to the legal talking heads...….no ? Good one sir.

Some one needs to show this to Dare and Currituck counties.

UPDATED: Dare, Currituck restrict access to non-resident Outer Banks property owners

Officials in Dare and Currituck counties have now both decided to prohibit non-resident property owners from entering the Outer Banks as of 10 p.m. Friday, March 20.

There's a lot more crap like this going on. Government overreach is getting crazy.
