LEXINGTON – Two men have been arrested after an attempted armed robbery at a Lexington pharmacy on Tuesday where gunshots were fired.

Two men in masks and with handguns came into the Lexington Family Pharmacy on East Center Street about 2 p.m. and tried to rob it, the Lexington Police Department said. There were shots fired between an employee and the two men before the masked men fled.

No serious injuries were reported.



Later Tuesday, Lexington officers found and arrested both men in Salisbury.

Marcelleus Robinson, 31, was charged with felony attempted armed robbery, felony possession of a firearm by a felon, felony assault with a deadly weapon and inflicting serious injury with intent to kill. He was also charged with four counts of misdemeanor possession of fraudulent ID.


Bryson Moss, 22, was charged with attempted armed robbery, assault with a deadly weapon and inflicting serious injury with intent to kill.

Both are being held in the Davidson County Detention Center. Robinson was given a $325,000 secured bond and Moss was given a a $250,000 secured bond. The were given an initial court date of June 12.

The Rowan County Sheriff's Office, Salisbury Police Department and Spencer Police Department assisted with the arrests.

By the way, Congressman George Santos, a complete clown, who has been accused of smalltime financial fraud, was released on a $500,000 bond. 😂

Time for consecutive sentencing when firearms ate involved. Why charge me with a dozen crimes, plea the gun charges and I'm out with time served.
