Has anyone seen this yet? Is this worth going to a theater for or should I just wait for Netflix? The trailer looks great and the reviews are very good.

I want to see it. I hadn't heard this story before watching the trailer a few months ago. But wow what a cool piece of history.

I will be going to see this in the theater.

There are just those that need to be experienced on the big screen and this is one of them.

I rarely go to the theatre's, but this film was worth it. Similar to the beach landing scene in saving private ryan, stretched over 2 hours.

I'm thinking about even splurging for IMAX.

Movie isn't as long as I expected it to be.

Worth the trip, but the time continuum of multiple situations was not synced for some reason by the director. night time scenes back and forth with day. Flashbacks that are applied poorly. Almost no character development. Doesn't even compare to Saving Private Ryan or Hacksaw Ridge. Still, a historically worthy event, great ME109 Spitfire dogfight scenes.

Going to see it this evening.

Just came back from seeing it. Trudi's father was there, she wasn't impressed. Her words, it was a crap film.

Poor representation of the sheer mass of 400,000 men stranded.
Similar to beach landing in Saving Private Ryan? Sorry....I didn't see any similarity. Even Trudi pointed out that men bombed on the beach aren't going to just be lying around "whole".
The "massive flotilla" was poorly represented. This is the age of high definition digital effects, there was little evidence of that in this movie.

I'm a huge fan of such movies. This one fails to deliver. Poor effort made in the massive realism of the event.

The three stories/timelines are odd at first, but when you step away it makes sense (one week / one day / one hour)

I liked it but not my favorite war film by a long shot.

Saw it Sunday night....not a fan at all. I can't stand that directors style. I wouldn't have seen it in theaters if I realized it was one of his movies.
