Anyone else have a EAA Girsan MCP35 PI OPS 9mm and have any info on compatible mags and holsters for it? It's a Browning Hi Power clone with the shorter slide with flat face trigger and optic cut-out and is similar to the Kimber KDS9 in my opinion. I was told that other mags like Beretta M9 and PT92 mags and some SIG mags are compatible but I don't know for sure if that's true. I have a Black Hawk 1911 holster that fits it somewhat but I was wondering if another holster would be better?IMG_20240128_184142891.jpg

Browning hi power mags should work. It’s a hi power clone.
Yeah I know that and I guess I should have been more specific. I was referring to other mags that would work in a Browning Hi power and clone other than factory mags. Like people that say sig and Beretta mags work in them and someone was saying that CZ p-07 mags would work but I have not tried any of them. I know that sig p226 mags work in Taurus G2 9mm and Beretta mags work in the Taurus G2 also. So if any of them work in the Hi Power or clone, then they all should. But again I have not tried yet and just got the gun yesterday.

But it is a very accurate and smooth shooter and I love the trigger on it.

It uses Hi Power magazines. M9 type magazines won't work because the magazine catch is in a different location. Hi Power is on the right. The Beretta type magazine inserts into a Hi Power but doesn't lock. No idea if it would feed.1000017250.jpg

I was thinking the same thing. I have a friend that drimmelled the catch hole for the mag on a m9 mag and it locks in place fine and even holds the slide back when last round is spent. But he has not fired it with the mag yet so I don't know how it will feed when shooting it but it does manually feed the rounds with no issues. But that's not the same as shooting it and feeding with pressure blowback and everything.

Just get the mec-gar hi power mags they function perfectly in the girsan.
