EAA? What’s the word on them?

Yes, they are reliable revolvers, if a bit crude cosmetically.

Had a Witness in 45…rode it hard and gave it to my brother and he carries it daily. Great gun.

Looking at a EAA Vindicator.

Are they reliable?
They are actually marketed in the US as the *W*INDICATOR believe it or not.

Ive heard it was a copyright issue and the German company that makes them for EAA to import simply changed the V to a W, and voila, a seriously oddly named revolver.

They have NOTHING to do with the manufacturer of the Witness, it is Tanfoglio of Italy that makes those.

The Windicator is manufactured by Weihrauch.

They, atleast from my handling of them, seem comparatively crude over all... but serviceable.

Long term ive got no idea how they may hold up.

I would seriously suggest something else if you can find it, as many fine (used) revolvers can be had for around what they seem to go for.

Ive had one in 38 special for a few years.
Its a little heavy but is accurate enough to get carried every once in a while
