I got mine a couple of weeks back, but it was hacked in half because the wife and I filed separately vs jointly.

I received the bits for my children. I am otherwise ineligible because I lost a job in 2019 and my unused vacation payout makes me too “rich” to qualify.

I may or may not get a check. If I do, not cashing it. Will mail it back next year in lieu of my payment post marked on April 16th ( my defiance protest date. Haven't had a payment denied in 15 years)

Mine was in my account the morning of 4/15...

Thank goodness for Married Filing Jointly. :D

I’d have been a big fat $0 by myself...so it was nice to average my income over both of us (with her small salary added in).

I do find it ironic I got money deposited on Tax Day. :D

BTW for those paying taxes in this year...even though the date for filing has been moved back you still accrue interest on the money owed until you pay it.

Being of sound mind, I’ve already spent all mine while not having the first clue if or when they will actually send me anything. The IRS site is obviously FUBAR

I’m pretty sure it’s just for the State. 5% over a few months doesn't amount to much.

It is just for state. I'm already paying them a boatload of money, even if its $400-500, its the principle

I think I’ll owe NCDOR five grand in estimateds by the time I do my taxes hopefully in July. I think the interest over those three months is like twenty eight bucks.

I got nutton……...However I have been collecting Unemployment for the first time in my life.
I got laid off four times in six years in honor of Y2K, so I can relate to the UC feeling -- not that it helps much. :(

Only for NC State tax. From what I've seen Federal has moved all to July 15th.

https://www.irs.gov/newsroom/whats-hot

"Penalties and interest will begin to accrue on any remaining unpaid balances as of July 16, 2020. You will automatically avoid interest and penalties on the taxes paid by July 15."

IRS doesnt have my bank information, so I'll be getting mine via check sometime.
I'll spend about half of it, save about half.

Probably use this as the time to get my suspension done on the MR2. Well I'll buy most of the components with that half.

Payment Status Not Available
According to information that we have on file, we cannot determine your eligibility for a payment at this time

That's the message we get. I had to pay for the first time in 2018. They have my bank info from previous years but I guess that doesn't matter. Looks like it will be this summer or so. We're blessed we don't have to have it.

I make the State of NC wait for it, normally file by the deadline. Got $27 refund last year.

Got my double deposit last week. Good thing Pelosi didn't find out that though filling jointly, there is only one income.
I'm sure democrats are trying to figure out how to eliminate joint file for single income.

Wife and I got our 2400.00 a couple of weeks ago plus she's getting 900.00 week unemployment.
I should have got on the government teat a long time ago,
Who knew it was so lucrative

Ditto.
Demorats haven't yet eliminated joint filing for single income married. I'm sure they are planning to at some point.
My wife still tried to claim half as "her money." But she'd use it to pay our daughter's off campus rent anyway.
