Bill and Ken said if they had to pick a gun off the shelf, load it, put it into their holster and trust it for self defense without first shooting it, they would pick the Beretta 92:

Bill doesn't work on a lot of Glocks or M&Ps so I guess that recommendation makes sense.
I think it's due to it having the most reliable feed system available on a pistol. It's got it's quirks, but they feed better than anything else.Bill doesn't work on a lot of Glocks or M&Ps so I guess that recommendation makes sense.

I've got a file... how much you willing to pay?I think if they made one without a safety/decocker I could get into it again.

Funny you say that, I have a CZ with a thumb safety that may meet the dremel.I've got a file... how much you willing to pay?
I think that is going to be out of my pricerange if Langdon is involved but I'll check that out.Caleb Giddings is a big Beretta guy that works in gun media. Also a big revolver guy. He has a Beretta 92D that received the full Langdon Tactical Technologies treatment, which is a configuration that may be seeing more production in the future.
They do. 92X Performance model has the safety on the frame.I think if they made one without a safety/decocker I could get into it again.

The 92s run; they just beat themselves to death on the locking block if you run a crapload of rounds thru them. Most if not all of the M9/92s in USASOC were deadlined for that issue. I like the guns ( used them for years in USMC and USA), I just think they're a too large frame gun for a 9mm. Tried a 96, just didn't run as perfectly as a 92 and mags were a pain to find. Just my .02.

As I think about it, because of the 92FS I shoot a DA/SA better then strikers.
