You can't delete anything from the Book of Faces anyway.
It's all backed up in their servers.
And the Utah Data Collection Center too, of course.

So I forgot that I was annoyed about their latest language in their privacy agreement, and logged in to look at used bikes before the 30 days was up to “delete” my account.
Found a message from a guy I had messaged about a trailer he had for sale. He had replied that it was still for sale. I asked if it had a title and was registered. Took him nine days to reply.
And he wonders why the trailer is still for sale all these months later.
Then why on earth would he advertise it there? It’s not on Craigslist. He’s just one example. I inquired about two different bikes for sale. No answer weeks later.Maybe he doesn't like the Book of Faces either and simply doesn't check it much.
In the past two years, if I bothered to document each time I had logged into the Book of Faces, I could probably count them on one hand.

Didn’t FB buy next door?I deactivated my FB account right after the Capitol riot because I saw how tightly they were working with the FBI. They are basically the surveillance arm of the federal government. I tried to create a second account with no friends using different names, etc. to use just for FB Marketplace, but (creepily) they could always tell it was me and shut the new ones down almost immediately. Creepy.
I've since been using Nextdoor's marketplace and it seems to be working better anyway. Better stuff, people easier to work with. Bought a bedroom set and sold a TV, both good experiences.
