A friend sent me this video... I have no idea when or where it happened.

What caliber do y'all think she used? It hit him in the sternum, or close to it, an' knocked him down, but he still had lungs to cry like a baby (if yer sound works) and did not die immediately. Definitely not 9mm, 'cause it didn't remove any organs, like Brandon said it would.

On that reference it had to have been an air soft gun with a plastic bb!

An armed, off-duty Brazilian military police officer was hailed as a hero Sunday after surveillance footage showed how she foiled a robbery on a family near a school.

Katia da Silva Sastre, 42, was standing near a group of women and children outside a Sao Paulo private school when the gunman, identified as 21-year-old Elivelton Neves Moreira, attempted to rob them at gunpoint. The women were celebrating a Motherā€™s Day event.

Little did the gunman know, Sastre was carrying a pistol of her own and shot Moreira three times in the chest, according to the Daily Mail. The footage showed Moreia falling backward onto the street and kicking the gun out of his reach.

Moreia later died in the hospital, according to The Sun.

military police officer, no less!

Also, he got off shot. The video sound says three or four shots were fired.

ā€œShe pushed the children out of the way and approached the thief. She shoots, the boy shoots, the boy tries to shoot at her leg,ā€ Brazilian public security secretary Maggie Alves said. ā€œShe immobilizes the boy and calls the [emergency services]. It was a perfect procedure from a technical point of view.ā€

Matt Dillon never shot the gun out of the hand of the bad guy! You need to go back and watch Gunsmoke some more!
Your are one of my favorites on here. Always a wealth of knowledge and really great on screen personality,, but you are wrong on this one. Maybe not real ā€œbadā€ guys but he did do it to stop others from shooting someone

I remember an episode where I thought Marshal Dillon had his gun shot out of his hand, but it ended up he was shot in the arm which caused him to drop it.

I don't remember him shooting any guns out of someone else's hands.

Could be wrong, though!

It seems like there was an episode where a kid challenged a professional gunfighter, and the pro shot the kid's gun hand instead of killing him. If so, you win on a technicality, but you could still learn the skill watching Gunsmoke.

What the hell did you do to find that?!?
Your sash suits you well.
I thought this question might come up. @Geezer has been giving me lessons on searching Google. šŸ˜‚

Actually, they ran this on Fox recently. šŸ˜‰

Never admit defeat to this crowd Chief.

Even if a video is posted. ''Well, it appears he shot some fingers but not his actual hand.''

There was one episode where a kid( supposedly 15) came to dodge to seek revenge on Matt because he had killed his brother. He says he has to find a job so he could buy a gun. He eventually does and starts practicing. He eventually walks into the salon and a guys at the bar starts giving he hell for carrying a gun and being so young. So the kids challenges him. They back apart and as soon as the guy draws on the boy Matt walks in and shoots the guy out of his hand. The boy told make he had froze and would have died if it wasnā€™t for Matt. He gives his gun to Matt and ends well.

All I got out of that was "salon" and then I was laughing too much thinking of the cowboys sitting around under those dryer helmet things and getting manni/pettis.

Well, it wasnā€™t 10mm because there would just have been a pink mist explosion followed by her giving the camera ā€The Rock eyebrow raiseā€ā€¦wasnā€™t .45 because the bullet would still be on the way out of her barrel, yes, even many years laterā€¦wasnā€™t .22 because it would have ricocheted around in his body until it went into his head, where it would have rattled around in his skull and scrambled his brainsā€¦wasnā€™t 5.7, because who can afford to waste a round of 5.7 on a simple kidnapperā€¦wasnā€™t a .32 because it would have bounced off him and outted her eyeā€¦380, no way, ainā€™t seen a box of that in 10 yearsā€¦25 šŸ¤£šŸ¤£šŸ¤£

Maybe .40 cause apparently she is some type of down south Fed boy-girl copā€¦or something like thatā€¦and Iā€™m real confused as to how this became a thread on The Battle of the Normalized Girl Bulge šŸ¤”ā€¦which war was that apart of again and did we win? šŸ¤Ø
