Rumor ... and I mean rumor is the parents were talking like $5 million and after extended negotiations it was going be under $3 million.

Basically to me those two people are almost as low as their son because this "wrongful death" suit is pure extortion against Ferguson because it would not take much to start another crazy protest/riot and cost the city more money and angst. Their son was not worth more than the sum on his parts ... and since he was a known drug user the market for his parts would be limited ... except by the "baby mamas" he'd likely create.

I read yesterday the amount was sealed by the judge to prevent backlash, but this says it was $1.5 million.

Or is this an entirely different lawsuit?
