It's a good thing to have a solid domestic supply chain. And we have been counseled to maintain one.

Indeed, George Washington himself said:

"A free people ought not only to be armed, but disciplined ... they should promote such manufactories as tend to render them independent of others for essential ... supplies.”
 
That’s great but I’m not enthused at all with lead free primers. Maybe there’s enough demand from the go-green crowd for it.
 
I’ve been there.
LETC, the Law Enforcement Training Center is there. After a major exam we went out to a Chili’s or Applebees or something… there is a 25% entertainment tax!
25% for having dinner and drinks with your buddies!
Not counting regular sales tax, or the tip.
That whole town sucks!
