love it. i really hope they’re successful at this.

i taught my kiddos how to act around them and safety, but also do a refresher every time i pull a firearm out the safe.

I hope they are successful at it, too.
I am reminded of the "study" somebody did a while back (a tv station, maybe?) wjere a bunch of kids were turned loose in a room full of toys. A pistol was hidden amongst the toys and the kids quickly found it.
The kids who had anti gun parents were absolutely curious about it and passed it around, some even looking down the barrel. I cant remember if the trigger was pulled or not.
The only kid (one, iirc) who didnt do any of that was the kid of gun owners. He seperated himself from the group and did not fondle the weapon.
Education is sorely needed amongst the children. Unfortunately, I dont believe the kids at the biggest risk will be allowed to partake in the proposed program.
