Amazing. I've grown various peppers for 30 yrs and had no idea you could do this. Brings a new aspect to the term "heirloom" plant.
I only learned about it a year or so ago myself.

That's the habanero/peach right? Yeah it came out more mild than wild. I'm gonna make another batch and hopefully up the spice a bit. I bet it was awesome on wings.

Yep. The buddy up here with me isn‘t a hot guy so I’m saving the evil stuff for another time. It wasn’t super hot, but your blend and flavor is really good. It isn‘t easy to make a good balanced hot sauce. Most homemade sauces suffer from too much of something. Heat, vinegar or the other flavors.

This thread really leaves me wondering if some of you actually have taste buds left or if you have callouses on your bums. I like, I mean I really like, hot food both temperature and pepper hot, several years ago a forum member gave me some peppers that I preserved, including habanero, and let me tell you they made my insides hurt to eat them.

Made another batch of peach/habanero and got the heat right this time. Much more what I'm used to out of habaneros.

And made another batch of Blood Sacrifice using what may be the last of my purple reapers this season.

And just a reminder.....wear your PPE....

That might have sucked without my glasses on...

Thanks! I'll pay more attention next spring.

Habs have always grown great for me here, and it would be fun to try others.
One thing I've noticed is that the ghosts tend to be in stock a little earlier at Lowes than habaneros and reapers. Not sure why but that was true both last season and this season.

I grabbed some habanero from the grocery yesteray and blended this up today. Im gonna let it sit 24hrs to meld together and taste test it tomorrow.
Of course I already tasted it and it's showing promise lol
Ordered some shaker bottles Friday. They oughtta be here soon.

Had some wings last night. Made a sauce with butter, Frank’s Red Hot and @RR Reaper sauce. Tried the reaper on it’s own. That will light your bung hole up! Good stuff.

Yes, yes it will.

My brother in law is Mexican. He's already killed one bottle of it. I got one more round of reapers and made a double batch of it today so he could have some more. My wife's sister says he puts it on EVERYTHING.
