I’m prepared.

Fortunately we will be getting on I-95 South as soon as we leave Avis and head southwest for about an hour to get to our destination.

It’s still good to be prepared for anything up there however.

Being from the Philly area, you could do much worse. Steer clear of MD while armed, carrying or not, they’re well known for their targeting of out of state drivers.

Too bad you’re not flying in a little later, I’d say to grab lunch/dinner at Chickie & Pete’s in the airport.

DE is about the same as MD for 2A carry…

DE recognizes a bunch of other states permits, but makes it almost impossible to get a resident permit. A close friend just got a non-resident NV(?) and it’s valid in DE but not in MD. He lives like 1/2mi from the MD border.
I’d argue that MD is far worse in practice.

My aunt lives in Chambersburg, PA. I dreaded the 20 couple miles through Hagerstown when going to visit. I usually had a couple or ARs on the back seat and a few pistols with me. I made sure to run the speed limit and stayed in the right lane.
