FN M16A4 Upper NOS Build

Found this upper this morning and thought it would make cool build. What would you guys recommend I use to finish the build to look like a M16A4 clone?

Would like to build something like this.

I’m going use an Acog as the optic. Never bought one before and always wanted one.

Will also add a specter raider 2-point sling, surefire light, and knights vertical grip.

After that I’m open to advice on the build. Should I buy one of the aero lowers? What BCG? A Colt one maybe? Should I buy any specific lower parts to be model correct?

I'm pretty sure Colt or BCM makes an awesome full auto m16 BCG. As far as lowers, aero offers a clone correct leo/Gov't lower reciever.

I trained with that exact rifle in basic right before they changed us to M4's and a good buddy of mine has the exact gun youre building. He went with a factory assembled BCM upper and delton lower. I think it's really all about your budget. If I could do one, I'd go all out with BCM. I just like the little star logo.[emoji2369]
First time seeing that goofy carry handle handguard combo. Some units really do stress accountability so I guess that's a thing.

I’d go with a Colt or FN lower (FN’s are hard to find so you’d have to look and be patient) to keep make it even o an homage to the military heritage.
 
I left out a whole sentance there. I meant to say they look the closest to a real full auto M16 BCG if you dont count the markings on the BCM. If you're worried about markings could always go toolcraft, they make a phosphate one with no markings at all.

A FN lower would be great, but the wait might be too long considering Colts are available and imagine prices are getting silly. The Aero precision will be my last option which isn’t the worst thing.
 
Look up mr gunsngears video on the Aero A4. I think they make great stuff. Besides they make the only clone correct lower atm. I dont think colt makes a clone lower so you would just be getting the logo. But then by that point you could go bushmaster too. Army has had plenty of those.

Call the FN Proshop, they have stripped lowers in stock pretty regularly. I got one for $99 shipped earlier this year.
 
That blows. I like your upper though. God, it's tempting.
