Another Micro 9 on the market, the FN Reflex. Looks like a direct competitor to the Hellcat and P365, with 11 and 15 round magazines and has an optics ready option. Another interesting thing about thing one is it’s not striker fired, it’s an internal hammer SAO.

I think this is the second single action micro doublestack after the S&W CSX, which wasn't well received and isn't optics compatible, so this looks looks interesting.

Now we just need a double stack P938.
Eh kind of, while both SAO this is a little different than the CSX. This one has no manual safety and the hammer is internal, it’s also a polymer frame gun.

That looked like an awful lot of trigger take-up, creep, and loooong reset. The bad trigger was the biggest gripe about the CSX. If you're going to sell something SAO and hammer fired, the glass break trigger needs to be your selling point. I don't see anyone other than FN fanboys paying a premium for this thing over any of the other myriad of striker fired options, especially with an MSRP of $659.

It’s according to them the “best in class” trigger, but who knows what that actually means since I think this could be the only one in its “class” technically.

I can’t see getting one of these to replace my 365 but I’d be curious to put some rounds through one.

One would think with the process FN charges they could get the colors at least close. Their two to three color FDE weapons make them look cheap and pieces together, ie Franken Gun.

I don’t know, I think it actually appeals to some. I personally like it.

Right. My P365XL trigger may very well be best in class for extended length micro 9's with Riton optics and Hogue grips.

I'm happy with my P229 with its factory short reset trigger, and my M&P M2.0 Compact with its Apex trigger.
And my Tisas Stingrays trigger isn't too bad either.....

I've always wanted a fn in my stable but the 509 had striker issues, then i heard their high power has light primer strikes. For the money they want, i think id wait for first round duds to get sorted out.

And i too hate the color.

Buy an older FNS. Ran thousands of rounds through two without any issue. They got a lot of things right with those pistols.

Modern FN has always reminded me of Audi automobiles. Bit of a black sheep & nothing has really peaked my interest for the price point. YMMV

HK sure is slow getting into the market with their entry at this size.
