Fox 410

I’ve got a Fox 410 I’m thinking about selling. Is that something that would sell here or should I put it in an auction. The last time I asked a dealer about it at the gun show he offered me $1,500 and that was 20 years ago.

Prices will vary a lot, depending on the model. The least desirable would be a Savage Fox Model B. The A.H. Fox models are more valuable.

I have one of the Fox Model B’s in 410. Great gun but the triggers were horrible. Front was 11 lbs and the back was 9 lbs. if you get one the trigger parts can be polished and honed a bit to improve them. Right now I’ve got them about 4 1/2 and 5. LOTS BETTER. Also keep in mind most will have short stocks so a small spacer might be needed. Good luck!

I think you would be lucky to get 1500 for it these days. I’d guess closer to 1000 with the lack of availability of ammo, it’s a tougher sale. There are still collectors but most would rather have the A.H. Model
