Has that Fox been lowered? It has a good stance.
No, it is stock height. The larger diameter wheels give that illusion. That was the first thing I said, “it looks like I lowered it”.Has that Fox been lowered? It has a good stance.
Gorgeous fox!
Crazily, there is very little difference in height of the two. The 225/55-16‘s that were on it are almost the same height as the 245/45-17‘s that I went back with. I was shocked that they were almost identical when standing them side by side (height wise). Are you gonna need a speedometer calibration? It looks like there’s a decent increase in rolling circumference.
Dems Cobra wheels I do believe. Wonder if the rest of it is too.I have a solid lead on a dusty 60k mile barn find lol

She is real. #555 My old triple nickel car. I bought it with 15k miles on it in 1996. I don't know how it survived me but its stillsitting in the corner of the basement.Dems Cobra wheels I do believe. Wonder if the rest of it is too.
It’s a buddy s white T/A on the right side (looking at the photo) and his silver Z06 on the other side.@charliedeltajuliet whats that white car beside you?
Four eyes! I always loved those wheels. And it’s the right color. Arrest Me red!I’ve got an ‘85 (4 BBL) that I’ve had since new, 24,000 miles. Been in storage since ‘87. I’ve spent three times what the car cost storing it for all these years. Still smells new inside : )

Why wouldn't you just build your own unit for it? Beautiful car, might surprise you what it's worth these days.
The military liked to move me around every so often (and didn’t pay well enough to build a place). Once it was in storage it was just easier to pay every month. It’s been in the same place since 1995. It’ll be in my garage by the end of this month though.
It’ll never be sold, no matter what it’s worth.
I see a Mecum auto auction in your future. For the longest time they were worthless. I guess because they made so many of them over the life of that body style. Mine is all original except I replaced the oem radio with an aftermarket unit the first weekend I owned it.
I’m sure as time goes on and all the beaters get put out to pasture it’ll continue to appreciate.
I used to keep up on Fox body stuff but haven’t paid much attention the last 5-10 years. One day I’ll buy a set of reproduction gatorbacks and show it a bit.
I looked at a four eye convertible before buying mine. There is just something about them. I had an ‘80 Mercury Capri that I did a V8 swap on, I wish I had that car back.I’ve got an ‘85 (4 BBL) that I’ve had since new, 24,000 miles. Been in storage since ‘87. Nice! What year? Original wheels? I had a 83 GT in that color with the TRX wheel/tire package. Not mine but looked just like this:The storage unit just got too damned expensive. She’s back in my garage after 26 years sitting in the same storage unit.
Now to get a set of reproduction gatorbacks, correct a fuel supply issue and drive it a bit, maybe : )

Crazy low miles. You are right not to drive it much. Does yours have the interior light on the swivel mount? Lol I loved that.I loved the ‘83s. I looked at one but just couldn’t afford it as a young E4.
Mine is an ‘85. All original except the radio. 24K miles. I swear, I’m gonna drive it one of these days : )
