Not sure if this has happened to anyone else but I found it amusing. :)

Last Wednesday when I was at my local indoor range the guy in the lane on my left was shooting a 9mm. Every time he fired his case would fly in to my lane almost in the same exact spot on the floor. So I put my range bag there wide open and practically every case of his flew right in to my bag. It was crazy. I've had brass from other lanes fly over but not as many as this guy was giving me. Between his brass and the ones I picked up in my lane from my session and some others that didn't clean theirs up I came home with a lot more than I went there with. :D

I was wondering where all my brass went. It was you!!

Well we'll call it even. A few of those hit me in the head and the arm and the ones on my arm burned @!#$.

I still can't figure out how so many were making it around the wall. They go all they way up to the ceiling. Unless he was way across the firing line.

I had one load I tested (AA#7, 115gn 9mm) that I could open a 50 cal ammo can on the bench, and every piece of brass out of the gun would land in it. The most fun, though, was a friend shooting a full-auto SMG and I stood about 3 feet away with a 5 gallon bucket catching all the brass. :D

I have a brass catcher for my AR. Now if I can figure out a way to rig something for my 9mm. I should have asked that guy when he'd be at the range again. I could have requested the lane next to him.
