Every time you see these city "preppers" with all their food and medical supplies and generators and no guns, you have to ask yourself: Do you want the thugs to get that stuff or do you want your family to get that stuff? Because those idiots aren't keeping it either way.

Yeah between the leather fetish aesthetic, the names of some of the warrior types and Wes with his pet Depeche Mode dude on a chain, there's some fruiting up going on there.
 
All you have to do is read up on the fall of the first Mexican Cartel and the repercussions and resultant splits and splinter groups from that one group in Tijuana.

Now you have 12+ Cartels, killing each other, civilians and Americans and the Mexican Government cannot do a frickin thing about it.

Everyone is on the take, because if you are not, your family and everything you love... dies.

And... .if the SHTF or an internal event causes issues in the city... do you think their Elected Leaders are going to call for help? No... because that would show the rest of the country that they failed... You know... like Portland. Perfect Example.

No. The Federal Government will crack down on people like US, just because we are the CHUMPS and follow a moral code and we will be easier (they figure) to continue to get taxes and duties, fees and tolls. They will not touch the cities or Blue areas...

I was chatting with a retired Co. Sheriff friend of mine and made a statement to the effect of thanking them for collecting all this stuff for me with your anti-gun sign in the front yard. Let's just say he laughed more than I thought he would.

Probably 30-60. I’m fat, corona put me out of shape, and haven’t trained in a long time. I have no illusions of long drawn out 5000-6000 engagements against hordes of zombies. Though, I really have no plans to go seeking it out either.

But...just in case, I reckon I’ll keep more on hand just in case I get lucky.

I was reading an article the other day that said in effect: 'if you're planning on an isolated retreat, you better have a small army, because that's what will be coming for you'. It went on to opine that small rural towns and surrounding farms will be safest/best when SHTF.

If forming gangs, better use names like "Sustainable Vegans", "Gay Climate Scientists" and such. I was going to use "Hydroponic Tomatoes", but I see someone up the road already has that one...

I've got nearly 1k in loaded AR mags in ready reach... another few hundred in pistol mags loaded up and ready. If I can get 10 minutes warning, I can do better.
