anybody had any experience with Girsan’s version of the hi power? Reviews seem to have been favorable on the internet other than magazine disconnect which I could fix.
 
It's a more faithful clone than the Springfield, but it still has it's fair share of issues like most non FN produced BHP clones.

I hate to be that guy, but it seems the only people that figured out how to properly produce an in-spec BHP was FN and those who FN licensed to produce it.

Any specific issues you’ve heard of? Was going to look at one tomorrow
 
I have not heard of too many functional issues with the Girsan. People don’t like the sights. I heard one report of a loose freight sight.

They don’t seem to have an extractor issue like the SA 35. I am not a fan of the warning label and the rollmarks. Finish seems to be better than the SA 35. I believe it’s some form of Cerakote.

They are pretty much available all over the place out the door for less than 500.

The one I'm looking at is NIB for $ 439

Well I got it. Trigger a little heavy but I can fix that. Mag drops free so none of that issue to deal with. Finish is good. Like most have said white rectangles for sights instead of white dots is wired. Probably gonna change those. I’ll get some pics up later
 
I got the mag disconnect out. Turned out to be a little bit of a pain as I had to end up taking trigger out too. Got it back together without any hiccups and it did lighten the trigger some. Debating doing anything else to trigger til I shoot it some.
