Anyone know a decent online place I could send my EDC frame into to get the thumb index stippled? I can't find anywhere local and I'm tired of the damn Talon stickers coming off in the holster. I'm not looking to get the whole thing done and doing it myself with a soldering iron is NOT an option. I'm not that skilled. I do want it to look good.

We offer this service as well!
So now I have questions.
1. Do I need a FFL to send it? I'm thinking yes.
2. What would the price point be at for a simple thumb index? And would the shipping cost make this cost prohibitive?
3. Do you have any pictures of examples of your work? I saw a little bit on your website.

Feel free to PM me with any info if you don't want to put it up publicly.

Don't stipple. Get Talon Grips if you need some serious grip. Otherwise it's just for looks, and if it's for looks, go spend that money on ammo, spare parts, magazines and training.

Don't stipple.

Wow. Pretty harsh. Glad we have so many "experts" here. This "expert" (me) says Talon Grips suck (though, Goon tape is awesome for "serious grip"). And, I have more than enough money to buy everything you listed and more. If I want to stipple I will.

If you actually had read the original post you would have seen it stated he was going to stipple... and it wasn't a question of "should he". He also stated the obvious, in a rounded about fashion, that Talon Grips suck.

Am I right @Jperr ?

Sounds like I hit too close to home.

Lol. No fighting. We're all friends here.

But, yes, the reason I want to stipple is because the Talon grip tape on my thumb index keeps wearing off due to holstering. So I need something more permanent. And it doesn't have to be serious grip, just something rough textured so I know my thumb is in the right place.

Thinking about doing it myself, but terrified I'll muck it up.

@Wolffy can laser it. I think laser work turns out smoother and less jagged feeling than someone doing it with a hot iron
