Glock optic mount

Ok ATM I run a Burris FF iii on my open gun ( a Glock 17). It is currently riding on top of the slide. I'm wanting to go to a frame mount. From what I can tell there are only 2 options, Carver and SJC. I like the CC better because it will add some more weight up front and it has a blast shield for the optic. Your opinion???

For less than the cost of the sjc you can have @Unknownpro mill the slide for the optic. Not sure if you considered that

True but I'm wanting a frame mount. Have several thousand rounds through this gun with the slide mounted optic and I believe that the frame mount offers a more steady mounting option for competition use than the slide mount. Less searching for the dot. In match the dot moves with the slide and it doesn't always come back to the same spot for me. But with the frame mount I'm more steady if that makes sense.

That's nice!! But they only make it for the a1 and rmr.....
