Love my glocks (have 6 of them) but HATE the trigger. If I want to replace them (the triggers, not the glocks), what line would your recommend? Just the trigger, or the connector as well? Spring? What would relieve that "scrunchy" feel to the trigger, like a rusted spring about to snap in two? Also, a quicker reset and lighter pull?

Any advice is thanked in advance.

Reactions: Me.
I really like the Glock Performance Trigger. Officially it only fits gen5 but it can easily be put in gen 4, and will go in a gen3 with mods.

The Timney Glock Alpha Competition trigger got my G19 down to a very scary 2lb pull. So that gun is un carry-able now. It's awesome at the range tho. So if your doing comp, try that one. Otherwise I'd shy away from it. But it's damn impressive doing mag dumps at the range.

I didn't pay near that much for it tho. So look for better offers.

For the price, this is my choice as well. Last one I did went from almost 6# to a hair over 3#. And about 10 minutes to change it.

This is the way.

OEM "+" connector will give you a no squish take-up with a solid wall and reset.

One of the most underrated connectors on the market because it's an 8lb.

I have Apex triggers in some of mine. Great trigger, but there are others that are great, too.

I’ve personally been running an Apex trigger with a minus connector for about 7 years now. I personally like how wide the flat trigger is. They also use an OEM trigger bar on their triggers.

If you’re looking to save a few pennies I believe they offer just the trigger and with a punch and a hammer you can install it on your OEM trigger bar.

I am down to two Glocks. One is all stock Gen 3 with thousands of rounds through it. It’s my daily. Second has whatever the best Overwartch trigger is on a Roland Special that mostly sees range use. I really like the Overwartch and have considered adding one to the daily carry.

Glock performance triggers are very good for the $. You can add a 3.5lb Ghost connector and improve even more.

But in Gen 3s just a 3.5lb connector helps a lot.

The performance trigger is a fully tensioned striker system.

people want light Glock triggers for what reason? It’s a defensive tool. The trigger is partially cocked, meaning it’s more akin to a double action pistol than a single action. This is a good thing. Spend the $$ on ammo and training. It is guaranteed to translate into better performance than silly trigger swaps that compromise reliability. Glock mush is for our own good. If mush is a problem, get a single action pistol or one of the many fully tensioned striker pistols with far too short/light triggers.

a ghost connector can improve the trigger particularly if the OEM connector has some rough spots. Again dry fire and live fire will fix just about every issue. Mess with the striker spring and one is asking for issues, which negates the whole point of acquiring a Glock in the first place.

BIG +1 on the Timney’s!

PSA has em for an unbelievable $99 right now - that’s crazy less than I paid and I paid way, WAY below MSRP for my two … at this price I may jump on some more in case they’ll drop in my PSA Daggers!

I’ll add I also have a Glock Enhanced trigger in one of our Glocks. Also good (but, at $99 I’d be all over those Timneys!)

Best o’ success!

That argument is not without its merit. However, some people do use tricked out Glocks for competition.

I haven't tried a bunch of different Glock triggers but the one I've been using for a few years now is the Agency Arms flat face drop in trigger. It comes with a Glock minus connector which will bring your trigger pull down to about 4.5lbs according to my trigger gauge (assuming you don't change any springs). I really like the trigger so I haven't felt the need to buy others. One thing to note is that if you use the Glock minus connector it comes with, You don't get a hard wall. The trigger just kinda follows through until it breaks. So if you prefer to have a hard wall then you can keep using the stock connector or try a different one. https://www.omahaoutdoors.com/agency-arms-triggers/

So I haven’t owned a Glock in 10 years. The 43x MOS I got today has a super crisp trigger. Have they improved them? Are the triggers in the slim line Glocks different? The break and reset are sharp and audible.

I was truly surprised.

I'm, "a silly trigger swap" kind of guy. Overwatch poly dat trigger, after-market connector and a five pound striker spring for me. A lot of folks really like the Apex solution. Then there is the Glock performance Trigger. I haven't done the Apex or the Glock Performance trigger. I only have a 48 and a 42 now. Have a new Sig P365 X Macro. The Sig might replace the two Glocks?
