goal for 2024

My 2023 goal was to play for a live audience, and I did that with the help of a singer so I could just strum and count in my head. Whew. My 2024 goal is to play a song and sing it at the same time. This is a real challenge because:

1. I'm only 2 years into my musical journey
2. I can't actually sing

But, it's a goal, not a promise.

I found playing for an audience (made up of 25 strangers plus 12 people I actually knew / invited) was fairly easy. Once I started playing along it was just me and the guitar, was even only vaguely aware of the singer doing her thing.

The worst is playing just at home with my wife in the room or 1-2 people, too much criticism comes my way.
