Getting ready to pickup our first golf cart from Revel 42 in Garner tomorrow afternoon.

School me on routine GC maintenance (I know batteries are major)...what are the items I need to look for, common issues, etc...

Thanks. LH

Only thing I can say is really stay on top of the batteries keep the fluids checked and the batteries charged. One battery goes bad and it’s a pita

agree with DM above...i just bought a 2011 Chevy, 58K miles, for $1400.

Keep the front end greased and as everyone else mentioned, keep an eye on the water level in batteries. Don't overfill or you'll have a big acid mess when you charge next time. The best way I've found to keep corrosion off battery terminals is stiff grease, like you use to grease front end. It's a little messy when it comes time to replace batteries, but you won't have to worry about corrosion eating up the terminal ends for the life of the cart! I've been doing this for nearly 30 years on a fleet of carts where I work and a tube of cheap grease does a lot of batteries.
