Please pray for my wife and our unborn. Original due date 3/21. Started spotting/bleeding mid December and got put on bed rest. Bright red blood at the beginning of the week. Have been at New Hanover regional sine Tuesday. Grade 1 Placenta Abruption. Baby is good/healthy. They are saying we will likely have to stay until they can take the baby in about 5-6 weeks, provided her body doesn’t accelerate that’s time table. We’re keeping our heads down and trying to maintain a 30 inch stride. Just over this next hill, just around this next curve. Thanks in advance for all the prayers I know will go up from this community.

You Got them!!!!!
My daughter was supposed to be born on December 23rd but came on September 14th. She is fine some 37 years later and medicine from those days has improved 10 times better to today.
Prayers are still with you and your family

Done. And if it helps, I was born just over 8 weeks early and weighed just under 4lbs in an underfunded 70s hospital that was almost closed down several times for gross violations of health care codes. My mother was told to get me christened asap because I wasn't supposed to survive very long.

That was almost 50 years ago. I was home in a fortnight and grew like a weed. Nowadays they work straight miracles rather than just sort of crossing their fingers.

Sent. Wishing the best possible outcome

Prayers for you, your wife, and the precious cargo. ODAAT, sweet Jesus.

Thanks for the prayers everyone. Been in the hospital for the last 34 days but we made it!! In the NICU now but doing good.

Praise God! Those are some pretty kissable cheeks. You’ve got a lot of snuggling to do.

Congrats to both of you.

Congratulations!

That's a fine looking hunka chunky baby there!

WOOHOO!

I love happy endings!

Or, in this case, happy beginnings!

Happy birthday, Allie!

(Give Mommy some hugs and kisses, too!)
