If I have the misfortune of receiving a gov. check or some gov. cheese for that matter, I’m sending it back. I really don’t want anything from them.
anybody else?

That's the old way of thinking, we just print more and keep on spending it.To each their own but if we end up qualifying and receive one I’m keeping it. If you pay any amount of taxes which I suspect you do you better hold on to it for the upcoming tax burden we all will have. 2 TRILLON? Good god almighty. Taxes are going up people.....

Why your coronavirus check won't get taxed
Before the final bill language was available, there was some uncertainty about several aspects of the coronavirus relief package and how people would receive money. The version of the bill that the Senate passed calls the financial assistance "2020 recovery rebates" and structures them as a tax credit. The coronavirus checks that people will receive will technically be an advance refund of that recovery rebate credit. Because of that structure, the coronavirus check won't be considered taxable income.
You do realize a politician told you they would not tax something?https://www.msn.com/en-us/money/tax...your-coronavirus-check/ar-BB11KBe0?li=BBnb7Kz
I'm not sure if the final version includes the same language but according to the Senate version it will not be taxable.

This.If you don't want to buy stuff, donate the money to a good charity or your church.
Now this I might do. Best idea yet.I'm going to use it to pay my taxes. Let .gov eat itself.
The nice one with all the double wides and community pool.A weekend of hookers and blow straight out of the trailer park.
This.
I'm sure there are going to be people around you who need financial help through all this, why not lend a hand if you're so well off you don't need it?
Militia members, referred to as "every citizen, so enrolled and notified", "...shall within six months thereafter, provide himself..." with a musket, bayonet and belt, two spare flints, a box able to contain not less than 24 suitable cartridges, and a knapsack. Alternatively, everyone enrolled was to provide himself with a rifle, a powder horn, ¼ pound of gunpowder, 20 rifle balls, a shot-pouch, and a knapsack.[5]
I agree if you're so well off you don't need it then share with those who aren't lol I mean not everyone is well off enough not to need itThis.

You might want to read this from AARP: Social Security recipients eligible.Since my wife and I are retired and do not have taxable income we will not get a check. So there will be nothing to send back. For those that do buy more guns or put it in a safe and enjoy.
