LANSING – Governor Gretchen Whitmer signed a slate of new gun control bills into law on November 20 that confiscate firearms and ammunition from people in Michigan who have been convicted of both violent and non-violent misdemeanors under new legal definitions of “domestic violence misdemeanors” established in the new laws.

These bills, passed by the democrat-controlled state house and senate, broadly expand the category of misdemeanors considered to be “domestic violence” to include many infractions that are clearly not violent, allow law enforcement to confiscate all firearms from anyone convicted of these misdemeanors, and prohibit anyone convicted of these misdemeanors from buying or owning firearms or ammunition for 8 years.

One of the bills, Senate Bill 528 Sec. 115 (1), clearly defines the act of stepping foot into your current or ex-partner's vacant ice shanty without her permission as a domestic violence misdemeanor – as long as the shanty is worth $100 or more.

Two late she has two daughters by her first husband and 3 step sons by her second and they all live in the Govenor’s mansion in Lansing….Aka on the tax payers dime so they are raising up little commies

The more of this nonsense they perpetuate, the more men will just check out of dating and marriage. The minute they come up with a passable virtual replacement I'm seeing a lot of box wine and cats in a great many women's future.

That's going to happen anyway, most women are going to vote feelings over sanity every bloody time. That and no male influence in a lot of kids life are a huge part of how we got into this mess we are in.

*the feds have admitted to at least 5 of the 19 being on their books. the defense says it was 12 of the 19 that were working with the feds.

Wow! Heck of a workaround for that pesky 2A thing that crops up … just expand the list of crimes that eliminate legal ownership. Make a few up if you have to. Hope that doesn’t catch on.
The random seeming “ ice shanty” add probably has a backstory… or could be attempted insurance against disparate impact claims by civil rights folks … damn. I can’t even see the light from the top of the rabbit hole I just dove down… lol

I’m just sayin’ if I WAS gonna kidnap a politician… and I never am … I’d pick a far more portable one. .. ;)
