From what I saw at the Florence Show this weekend, availability of ammo is getting a little better. Compared to the Charleston Show 3 weeks ago there was more 9mm for sale as well as hunting caliber rifle ammo. 223/556 and 762x39 seemed to be about the same. Prices were also a little better at least on 9mm although there were some still asking ridiculous prices but they had it left at the end of the show. The 2 calibers that were still scarce were 38 special and I did not see a box of .380 all weekend. There was one dealer there with a decent amount of reloading components, but no primers. 2 guys were walking the isles on Saturday trying to sell Small Pistol and Small Rifle primers for $100/k but never saw any buyers. The dealer I was working with told me he had more ammo in stock right now than he has had since the "panic/shortage" started and his distributors and promising more deliveries. This is certainly not any scientific facts, but hopefully its pointing to better times.

I decided this would be a good year to start learning to reload for my 9mm. After some tests of multiple boxes I believe I found that my carry does not care for generic 115g I practice with. The 124-125 was working better.
Yada, yada won't bore you with a long story... Only thing that comes to mind when trying to find 9mm bullets is "...picked the wrong week to quit sniffing glue..." from Airplane.
