Harbor Freight US General Tool Boxes

@Burt Gummer can you find the hang on tool box part #ā€™s?
Iā€™ll be working at the 4M sq/ft HarborFright warehouse Thursday and can ask if thereā€™s any around for sale.

Iā€™m cutting a piece of plywood for it to sit on in my building and donā€™t even plan on putting the casters on. Is that a bad idea?

I would keep it on the casters in case water ever got inside the shop, personally.

Plus it will give all the nuts and washers a place to hide under.

ETA, I'm a dummy, just saw the date.

What I'd like is SKU# 64972 Orange 14.5" end cabinet.

Are these things all custom order now? My local store hasnā€™t had any in stock for a while.

CHRIS
Seems that way. Took me about 3 weeks to get my box when I ordered it

I haven't been inside Harbor Freight for years. They got a "new" one in Sanford that I've never set foot in.

Are y'all sayin ya pretty much have to order what you want online and pick up in the store?

Do the stores keep any on hand, just a few but not the whole selection? I'd like to look at some of the sizes in person before I order. But probably not gonna happen that way?

Most have a display, and they keep some of the smaller boxes in stock. The store mine came from in Greensboro doesnā€™t have room to stock them. And the demand is high hence another reason that theyā€™re always on order.

Cool. Gonna probably ride to Sanford this evening and see what they have.

If you think youā€™ll buy tools from them, buy the inside track club membership. Iā€™ve added right much stuff to the craftsman/Mac collection that was my dads and grandpas because of their club membership sales

Bought the membership.

Went and picked up the 26 inch bottom in green for my knives and sharpening stones. Gonna go back later and get the matching top once I get most stuff transferred into the bottom from the mess I had before.

Sanford location seemed pretty well stocked.

The one in Burlington had a scratch and dent top 26ā€ box in green the other night when Diana and I went by there. Be worth a call to see if itā€™s still there. If it is I bet you could get it for $100.

They have some US General stuff on sale this weekend:

Just received 5 more yesterday for the automation techs where I work.20220303_140433.jpg

We bought the 30ā€ 5 drawer cart a couple weeks ago in white when they were on sale. Soon as I get some time Iā€™m gonna delete the drawer locks, and put it together. The new freeze dryer is gonna reside on it when it arrives

Went to the high point store by my work to order a side cabinet and an end locker for my box. Theyā€™re marked down to $199 each from $349 I think they were at one time. The store had an end cabinet in stock to my surprise. Brought it home. End locker on order

Side locker came in yesterday. Moved the box around in the building and hung it. Now I need to reorganize some things.
