Yes,, Hawkeye does allow PCC. It is a USPSA division, and we are an affiliated club.
As mentioned above,, I own the range. It is private,, as I can't be there all the time to run it. So,, it's not open to public use,, except for the USPSA matches, or other special events we hold. We do instruction classes, occasional special gatherings,, (Such as the Ruger Forum East Coast Gathering,) etc.
I have 7 pistol bays,, as long as the weather doesn't make one unusable. Example; for the December match,, we'd had enough rain to where bay 3 had standing water of about 2-3 inches where the targets would have been.
We have various props to allow challenges for USPSA competition.
Basically, we hold USPSA Level I matches,, where people can enjoy a competition AND,, if necessary,, learn how to shoot USPSA. Once a year we hold a Classifier match,, to allow folks to possibly move up a class, or classify in a different division.
Match fee is $20 per competitor,, and we allow some competitors to shoot (2) categories, (such as PCC & Limited,) as long as it doesn't cause a squad to slow down the match. Normally we only have 1-3 people do this,, occasionally.
Visitors are welcomed always to watch a match. Eye & ear protection required.
NO,, and I mean NO carrying a loaded gun on the range,, including the parking area on match day. No gun handling anywhere except at a safety bay, or under the direct supervision of a Range Officer. This is for everybody's safety. The ONLY exception is a uniformed LEO while on duty. Most folks with CCW will unload & secure their CCW firearm just prior to entering the range. There is pull off spot right before the range entrance. If you feel the need to carry a firearm,, then sign up for the match & follow the USPSA rules about equipment. You'll have your gun & ammo on your person.
THIS IS A SAFETY RULE & NOT NEGOTIABLE.
Further info can be found on the USPSA site,, or PM me if you have a specific question.
