Now that there is such a proliferation of red dots and lights on pistols, it got me thinking. Is it possible to take one of the new compact 9's (P365, Hellcat, maybe shield?, equip it with a light and red dot, and still be able to put it into a pocket? would the height of the optic kill that idea off the bat? I am just curious.

I know Streamlight makes some pretty small pistol lights out there according to their website. They have ones that will fit the P365 and the Shield. Only question is, if I can find a red dot small enough (really a green dot, but semantics).

Anyone had any personal experience with this? I feel like even if it prints it wouldn't look like a pistol with all the stuff on it.

Hellcat Pro w/Holosun 507k and a dreaded O-light Valkyrie.

These Wranglers don’t exactly have deep pockets. And, I’d want a kydex trigger guard.

My criteria is 16oz max for a pocket pistol.

I carried a P365 with TLR-7sub and 407K & OG Glock 43 for a long time but never considered it small/light enough for a pocket pistol. I carry a Shield Plus & TLR-6 these days and no way is it ideal for a pocket.

YMMV

That is super helpful to actually see it in a pocket. I pocket carry a CSX now and had a 365 but I never put a light or optic on it. I have carried a Gen 1 Shield in a pocket several times before in some old wranglers I had (I was also skinnier then). I am guessing they would have to be some deep pockets or in overalls then.

Maybe with the leupold delta point micro. No clue if it's any good. Seems kinda hard to aquire the dot, but it should fit in a pocket. It also might be snag city.

My thing is how hard it must be to pick up the dot. I had trouble on reg red dots first time i picked them up. Hard to imagine this thing being easier. Plus it's Def not pretty
