A young mother asks 911 for permission to shoot two intruders. As soon as the door was breached, she shot and killed a 24 year old douche armed with a 12 inch knife. The other guy fled. Sorry, I'm on my phone and couldn't embed this video. Here's the link:

She (the dispatcher) was being asked a question she couldn't possibly answer and she did do a great job. I was asked a question one time by a dispatcher that I couldn't answer. Two rough looking boys in their late teens were walking down my driveway and out into our neighborhood carrying t-ball bats. It was about 10:00 am on a school day in the winter. The dispatcher asked me if he should, or if I wanted him, to send a patrol car. I told him that wasn't a decision for me to make. I was just calling in to give a heads up that something unusual was going on. Needless to say, a crap ton of cars showed up after I told the dispatcher I was well armed inside my house. They were out there all afternoon that day. I have always suspected the officers who showed up knew who these kids were and their background.
